Meet Dr. Liz

modern-day medicine woman

I’m Dr. Liz, a multidimensional, passionate Creatrix of life. It is my soul’s purpose to help women bring more aliveness, audacity, and sacred wild into their lives. In other words, for them to become drenched in their own divinity.

My path of personal growth began in my 20’s, and I have voraciously studied spirituality, sexuality, and human potential ever since. For 13 years I owned and operated a busy well-being center in Oakland, CA, with my work centering around personal growth and spirituality. Among multiple degrees and certifications, I hold a doctorate in Chiropractic, and am an expert in a somatic quantum approach to mind/body/spirit healing.

I have facilitated thousands of healing sessions, hosted countless workshops, and spoke at numerous events. I’ve passionately shepherded women through personal metamorphosis within my retreats, ceremonies, and sacred containers. My work draws from my education and experience –  from the healers who have guided me, the mentors who have influenced me, and the practices I have learned from indigenous culture. Creatively, I’m inspired by performance, writing, dance, and burlesque as gateways for a woman’s authentic expression. I lead women to their greatness in a playful, evocative, empowering way, blending creativity with modern, quantum neuroscience and ancient teachings.

The Holy Wild emerged not only from my own path of liberation, but from witnessing hundreds of women throughout my career who were living a life far more tamed than the entirety of their soul’s greatest expression. My own life was radically interrupted when I was given the opportunity to heal unfinished business with my spirit in the form of a freak bike accident with very complicated neurological side effects. There was little traditional medical intervention to help, and I knew my soul was beckoning me to surrender everything I knew to once have been me. And so I did.

I transferred my thriving business into new hands, and went into what I call “the underworld of my soul.” During this time, I released outdated relationships and identities, left a city I had lived in for 27 years, developed new soul-fulfilling skills, and relocated my family to a completely new landscape. I allowed Spirit to do her work completely, and emerged anew with a healed mind, body, and spirit. It was the most humbling, scary, and soul-stunningly beautiful passage in my life thus far. I’m grateful for all of it.

As a result, I consider my capacity to shepherd a woman’s awakening to her life as Sacred Art to be one of my greatest gifts I offer.
